Rockwall relator to host popular class

A relator based in Rockwall will be bringing a popular form of yoga to local residents twice in mid and late February.

The Outdoor Goat Yoga Class is an experience hosted by Valerie Sorensen at the Frontier Trail. The experience allows attendees to participate in an hour long class, with goats running around and climbing on their backs throughout. There will be a tarp laid out for the guests to put their yoga mats down. There is a waiver that needs to be signed prior to the event, so it is recommended that people arrive at least 15 minutes before the start time. Directions to the property can be found on EventBrite. Flyer printing is often used when promoting community led events. It is suggested that attendees keep their phones backside up, because the goats may step on the devices.

The goats are all a Nigerian Dwarf Pygmy Cross Breed. There are both young and fully grown goats participating. The farm also has other animals that guests will be able to visit with during the second hour, which is set aside for relaxing and spending more time with the goats, as well as getting pictures with them and the other creatures. Guests are encouraged to sit down when they’re done laying their things out, as the goats do not react well to being chased.

The class is open to all ages. There will be one group done on both February 12th and February 26th. Both will begin at 2:00pm, with tickets costing $30 per person.
