Tate Farm trade day comes around at the end of the month, and will have a variety of activities at what is a family-friendly event.
The farm trade day is about having fun and a unique experience. To that end, there will be a number of local vendors, selling everything from equipment and livestock, to art and handmade wares. There will also be mini bike races.
The mini bake races will be in the afternoon. Registration begins at 10 am, and is $10 per race. There are four categories: women’s open, open stock, outlaw class, and old school. One of the primary differences between the styles is the maximum tire size, and how many modifications are allowed.
There will be live music at this event, and vendors will be set up all day, with many of them local to Rockwall and the surrounding area. The event is also benefiting the Smirl Chapel Relocation and Preservation Project. This project aims to move a chapel built in 1898 to Tate Farms in Rockwall.
Events like this often use flyer printing to help advertise for the event. These Flyers may be handed out, mailed out, or even attached to light poles for passersby to see.
The event is currently scheduled for a week on Saturday, November 24, from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.
