A local venue in Rockwall will be holding a creative lesson for children and adults alike in mid-November.
Family Day! Fox and Fall is a painting activity hosted by an instructor at the city’s Painting With A Twist location. In this event, participants will create an image of foxes relaxing on some leaves in the grass, with the sun peeking over the hill behind them and more leaves falling. The instructor will guide everyone through the process of creating the image step by step. No experience is required to participate.
The class is recommended for ages six and older, although some five year olds may be able to participate if their parents/guardians think it will be suitable for them. If they are just watching their child paint, this must be indicated when tickets are purchased. Young artists may also be left at the class alone, as long as the adult bringing them leaves a contact number with the staff.
Those who are 21 or older may bring alcohol to the event. Staff at the venue ask that everyone does their best to keep the environment family friendly.
Tickets will include the materials and instruction. At the time of writing, buyers are able to get a discounted price on a second seat when two are bought through the company’s website. Each costs $35 at the full price, with the painting base being a 16”x20” piece of canvas. Flyer printing is often used in promotion of similar activities.
The lesson will run from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm on Sunday, November 13.
