This year will be the 9th annual Wine and Dine Fundraiser for the Rockwall Animal Adoption Center. Proceeds will go towards medications for dogs that tested positive to heartworms at the center.
The fundraiser is a ticketed event that will be held in the main clubhouse of the Rockwall Golf and Athletic Club on Champions Drive. Parking is available in front of the venue, which boasts a view of Lake Hubbard. Tickets include wine and food.
There are various levels of tickets for this event. Individuals wishing to attend can buy single tickets for $55 apiece. Reservations can also be purchased per table, with each table seating six people, for $330 per table. There are also corporate sponsorships available.
The Rockwall Animal Adoption Center is located on Airport Road in Rockwall. The Collin County Humane Society manages the adoption center, and is a registered nonprofit organization. The adoption center takes in animals that have been abused, neglected, or are unwanted, and helps them recuperate and find forever homes.
Events like these often use flyer printing to help spread word and remind people of where and how to purchase tickets. Flyers may also include donation information, for those who cannot attend but wish to make donations instead. The fundraiser is currently set to take place at 6:00 pm next Saturday, March 30.
