USATestprep will be holding an overview and training session for administrators, teachers, and coaches in the use of its software.
This workshop is focused on teachers and administrative staff in the Dallas area. It will focus on the uses of the USATestprep site and program, covering such topics as how to use the available resources for lessons, navigating the system to view progress in a data sheet format, and how to use and assign specific tasks to improve student achievement. One of the goals of the workshop is to familiarize attendees with the website, allowing them ease of use.
Attendees will need to have access to a tablet or laptop during the workshop. Continental breakfast will be served, and beverages will be available throughout its duration, which is expected to be approximately four hours.
USATestprep is a website that acts as a classroom tool. It has state-specific features to allow teachers in different states to be aware of standards in their state and teach towards those goals. It has been developed by teachers.
The workshop will take place at the Hilton Dallas/Rockwall Lakefront in Rockwall. Free parking is available on site for the duration of the event. Workshops like this often use printing services to make things go more smoothly, as there are often printed handouts to go with the lessons. This event is currently scheduled for Tuesday, February 26, starting at 8:30 am.
