The 3rd annual Hot Havana Night celebration is taking place next month in nearby Greenville. The event is a fundraiser for Women in Need (WIN).
The evening will start off with a VIP reception for sponsors. Later, guests will be treated to a wide variety of Latin cuisine and drinks. There will also be plenty of salsa music to dance to, a cigar bar, and a variety of local business exhibitors showcasing their products and services. In addition, there is set to be both silent and live auctions.
A high point of the evening will be the Salsa Recipe Contest, which anyone attending can enter for $25. Contestants will be competing for ‘The Best Salsa in Hunt County’ and ‘People’s Choice’.
Women in Need (WIN) is an organization that operates in both Greenville and Rockwall. It provides services to victims of domestic violence, crisis intervention, and safe shelter. It also works as a legal advocacy group.
To help spread the word about upcoming charity fundraisers, organizers often invest in flyer printing services. The finished product can then be distributed in the Rockwall and Greenville area to ensure people know about it.
The Hot Havana Night fundraiser will be held at the Landon Winery’s Emerald Ballroom on August 11 from 6:00 to 10:00 PM. Tickets are $50 each or $85 for two; those entering the salsa recipe contest pay $70. Call 903-455-4612 to learn more.
