Rockwall residents who want to aid a local area organization can do so with an event in early June.
The RCPA 2nd Annual Golf Scramble is a fundraising event for the Royse City Police Association (RCPA). Groups of four people are able to register to participate in the game by contacting one of the numbers or addresses listed on the Facebook page for the event.
The Royse City Police Association is a non-profit volunteer organization that aims to increase community involvement and provide support to members when needed.
Companies and individuals can also to sponsor the fundraiser, which means their names will be included in promotional material relating to the event. Different levels are available, with additional perks. The RCPA’s Facebook page can be contacted for further information, with interested parties invited to send a direct message.
The cost per team is $500, which covers the fee for using the green, food for lunch, access to a golf cart, prizes that can be won, and a bag full of gifts and Promotional Products. There will also be raffles at the event.
The venue for the fundraiser is the Buffalo Creek Golf Club in Rockwall. At the door, a number of additional prizes will also be available to participants. The game will begin at 8:00 am on Friday, June 6.
