CPR class to be hosted near Rockwall

The American Red Cross (ACR) FA/CPR/AED Blended Class is set to take place near Rockwall next month.

Anyone who wishes to learn CPR techniques for emergencies involving both adults and children can register online for the class at a fee of $99 per person.

An online course on the basics of CPR is a prerequisite to the in-person class. All registered participants must complete the entirety of the virtual learning program on the Red Cross Learning website in order to qualify for the following classroom event.

The CPR class lasts an hour and a half and will teach students from Rockwall and other surrounding areas how to recognize different types of medical emergencies, and what first aid care and CPR techniques are best for infants, children, and adults. The organizers of similar classes often utilize brochure printing to provide every student with an informative printout that details key learning topics in writing for easy reference.

Health and safety restrictions will apply to this in-person class. Anyone who is sick at the time of the event must reschedule to protect the health of classmates. The class size will be small so that CDC guidelines can be followed.

This educational, hands-on event is scheduled to proceed at the Nation’s Best CPR DFW office in Richardson on Tuesday, January 5 from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm.
