Aspasians Marketplace continues to be Rockwall tradition

The Aspasians Marketplace will be held again in Rockwall this fall, continuing its long tradition. Originally known as the Aspasians Arts & Crafts Fair, this market has been held for over 40 years.

Aspasians is a non-profit group of women that aid their local community. The Marketplace is one of their primary events, and showcases local artists and artisans while also raising money for college scholarships for Rockwall teens.

The Marketplace will have a variety of vendors – approximately 200 are expected to set up tents at the event. Although there is no list of vendors available, previous events have seen everything from live plants to housewares to jewelry. Aspasians members will be in attendance, and will have four to six booths set up throughout the marketplace.

Admission to this event is free, and it will be open from 9 am to 5 pm on a Saturday. This event is very popular, with an estimated 10,000 attendees this year. The marketplace will be held in the parking lot of the Wilkerson-Sanders Football Stadium; public parking will be available nearby for attendees.

Planners of events like these typically use printing services to have items such as Posters, Flyers, and Postcards ready to put up and send out. As this event has plenty of history, it is well-known in the area, and has previously been well-attended. This event will take place rain or shine on September 14.
