A fun outlet for that creative itch will be popping up at a Rockwall location of a popular company in late January.
Boba Friends! is one of Painting with a Twist’s (PwaT) “Twist Family!” classes. These are events that open the group art class environment to budding artists from the age of six. For the Boba Friends! event, participating guests get to select either a giant panda or a bunny to serve as the character in their pieces. The lead artist/teacher will show the room how to complete both versions of the painting.
The adults present are able to bring alcohol, but are reminded to maintain a controlled and safe space with kids being in the area. Those coming with a younger participant can purchase a spot without having to paint, as long as they make a note indicating this wish when paying. The $35 fee includes the 16”x20” canvas, the paints, the instructions, an apron, and other needed materials. Tickets for a place at the event are found online via PwaT’s page.
The lesson has a runtime of 90 minutes, and it is on the schedule for 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm. Flyer printing acts as a simple and effective form of advertising for many artsy classes and child-friendly activities like this. The experience is taking place on Friday, January 26.
