A Pearland event in November will give the public a way to stand behind former troops.
In response to COVID-19, the Veterans Day Walk that takes place in the community each year will be a virtual activity, and this means that people can join in the fun from wherever they call home. All ages can take part, and while they do, they will be helping to raise awareness of combat-related post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and the impact it can have on a veteran and their family.
The procedure for registering for the walk has been streamlined so that as many people can join in as possible. Once a participant has registered, they will receive a race bib to Print out at home. On the first day of the event, there will be an opening ceremony hosted online, and once they have completed their walk, run or roll, the registrants will be asked to post photos online, as these will show local vets that they have the full support of their community and country.
When marketing this type of activity, it can be a wise move to reach out to a professional printer. It will be able to supply everything from finisher’s coins to Banners, T-Shirts printed with the function’s Logo Design and even water bottles and sunglasses to give to each participant to thank them for their help.
The 2020 Veterans Day Walk will run from November 7 to November 14. Additional information is available on the Hike for Mental Health website.
