This Fourth of July, Pearland will join other communities all across the country in celebrating the nation's birthday. A full evening of fun is on the agenda for the occasion, and when the stars come out, the event will be capped off with a huge fireworks show for all to enjoy.
The celebration, which will be set up in Independence Park, will begin with a military salute and singing of the national anthem. The community’s business and not-for-profit sectors will be participating, and there will be lots of activities that both the young and the young at heart can enjoy.
Those who attend the festivities will be welcome to stop by one of the food trucks and other food service operators that have booked space during the function, and they can also bring refreshments from home. Entertainers will be strolling among the crowd, and several inflatables will offer the younger event goers a chance to have some bouncy fun.
The VCA Westside Animal Hospital had generously offered to sponsor the fireworks display, and the attendees will be able to purchase glow in the dark trinkets and other Promotional Products.
The City of Pearland Celebration of Freedom will begin welcoming revelers at 6:00 pm, and the evening will draw to a close once the fireworks are over. The venue for the festivities will be located at 3449 Pearland Parkway.
