Pearland programming to help prep for rainy April weather

It will not be long before Pearland has to brace itself for April, and a workshop will help make sure property owners are well prepared for when the heavens open.

The staff at the Delores Fenwick Nature Center strongly believe in the benefits of rain barrels, and they are hoping the public will be just as enthusiastic. It will follow a lecture-style format, and the attendees will discover how they can be helpful to both the homeowner and environment alike.

The assembled group will find out what materials are needed to make a rain barrel as well as where they can be sourced. After this, they will learn the steps to follow in constructing one, and also how it can be maintained. The planners explained that the workshop may not be suitable for anyone who is younger than eight years old, and it is scheduled to run for one hour.

Being party of an event like this can offer a property owner a good introduction to the art of using rain barrels, and supplying them with printed instructions can make the process of constructing one even easier. A printing services company can help, and it can also supply any other printed items that are needed to help ensure a function will be success.

The Delores Fenwick Nature Center will be offering this workshop on March 28. It will be facilitated by a member of the center’s staff.
