Pearland plans combination car show and toy drive
Communities all across the USA have discovered how much fun and effective a ”stuff the vehicle” fundraiser can be, and one of these events is set to help make the season happier for Pearland’s kids in need.
A decorated trailer will soon be rolling into the lot at 2620 Pearland Parkway, and the public is asked to get involved in the fun by dropping off a new unwrapped gift. The goal is to completely fill the trailer with this holiday cheer, and the proceeds will be passed along to local families facing financial hardship.
The “fill the trailer” gift raiser will be paired with a vehicle show, and dash plaques will be presented to the first 50 entries. These will boast a special graphic design, and awards will also be given to the Top 25 as well as Best of Show Car and Best of Show Truck. The registration fee is $25 each, and this will take place on the day of the show.
This holiday toy drive will see donations distributed through the Marine’s Toys for Tots program. A banner printing company will have a wealth of decor ideas that can make an event feel even more special.
The Freddy’s Frozen Custard and Steakburgers Christmas Car Show and Toy Drive will welcome the public on December 3, starting at 8:00 am.
