The Lions Club of Pearland has organized an event that will do a good turn for those in need of mental health care.
The organization will be serving BBQ fare with all the fixings during its 5th Annual Drive Thru BBQ Fundraiser, and the crew members at Bottomless Pit BBQ have donated their time and effort to the occasion. The monies that are raised will be contributed to various local mental health initiatives, and these will be offered free of charge or at a reduced cost to those in financial distress.
Tickets for the meal are $10 per plate, and each diner will be treated to sausage, chicken, and sides. The food will be available for pick up for three hours.
A call has gone out to the area’s corporate community, and there are various ways for local businesses to get involved. Sponsorships start at the Bronze level, and they all include recognition on Facebook and email blasts. The Logo Design of the supporters, complete with a hot link, is another one of the perks that will be available to the sponsors that make a large donation.
