A Pearland event that helps local students meet their educational goals will soon be back for another year, and everyone is invited to come out and show their support for local scholars.
The Denim and Daises Dance, which is hosted each year by the Alvin/Pearland Metro Go Texan Committee of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, will offer an evening of music, auctions, food, and friendship. Driftwood will supply the entertainment for the evening, and the function is open to anyone age 21 and over.
The tickets for the occasion are being offered to the public at a price of $50.00 each. The proceeds from their sale, as well as both the live and silent auctions, will be utilized to help fund the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo’s scholarship fund. Each year, the program provides 10 scholarships that have a total value of $200,000 and are given out to seniors in local school districts. Poster printing techniques can be used to craft marketing materials that can help to ensure an event like this is well attended and a success.
This event, which will combine an evening of fun with helping local students achieve their educational dreams, has been planned for February 17, starting at 6:30 pm. It will be held in at 2320 Hatfield Road in Pearland, and more details about the function can be found on the Visit Pearland website.
