In November, Irving will play host to a family friendly WWE-type event that features wrestlers from the Micro Wrestling Federation, an organization specifically for wrestlers under five feet tall.
The Micro Wrestling Federation was founded in 2000 and holds the title for the longest running organization belonging to the Little Person wrestling industry. Performing over 200 shows a year, the Micro Wrestling Federation has been featured in popular media such as Country Music Television and Sports Illustrated Magazine.
The Irving show will consist of various competitions, such as the micro brawl where wrestlers will perform body slams, punches, and suplexes. There will also be a special Micro Royal Rumble where all the micro wrestling superstars will go toe-to-toe with each other to win the honor of the coveted champion’s belt. After the show, attendees are welcome to hang out and socialize with the wrestlers, who will also be giving out autographs.
The Micro Wrestling event is scheduled for Saturday, November 6 from 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm. The venue is Southern Junction Nightclub & Steakhouse, located on 101 North Rogers Road, Irving. Tickets can be purchased from $23.99 for general admission all the way to $528.99 for the Referee Gift Package.
