Two artists, Kraig Parker and Al Nelson, will be presenting “Rock-N-Roll Heaven, A Tribute to Elvis Presley and Roy Orbison.” Kraig Parker has been performing his tribute to Elvis Presley for more than 16 years. Parker resembles Elvis physically, sounds like “the King,” and has learned the trademark Presley moves, giving his stage shows the same excitement and intensity of the original.

Parker has been so successful that some of the artists who performed with Elvis, such as the Sweet Inspirations, the Stamps Quartet, and the Jordainaires, have joined him on stage. In addition, Loanne Parker, Colonel Tom Parker's widow, along with several men who were body guards for Elvis, have become friends of Parker. Since he began his tributes to Elvis, Parker has performed in major venues around the world.
Al Nelson also does a tribute to Elvis, but for this performance, he will be Roy Orbison. Reviews of Nelson's performances say that he brings audiences to their feet, cheering, and that he “simply becomes Roy Orbison.”
Rock-N-Roll Heaven is scheduled for January 11, from 7:30 pm until 10:00 pm, at the Irving Arts Center on North MacArthur Boulevard. Brochure printing can be used to create programs for events like this, leaving room for biographies.
