Next month, the Annual Texas Jam Soul Line Dancing Conference will be held in Irving, bringing with it a weekend of dancing workshops, wellness and empowerment workshops, and a community health fair.
Conference attendees will enjoy soul line dancing workshops taught by some of country’s top choreographers and instructors, including Hakeemah "Keema" Shamsuddin, Aaron "Professor Uno" Brown, and Jansen "DJ Chopps" Hunter.
The conference will also feature empowerment and health workshops focusing on topic such as personal finance and cryptocurrency, mental health and depression, headaches and migraines, cancer prevention, and diabetes management and prevention. A community health fair with free health screenings for attendees will be held on Saturday.
There will also be a Saturday evening dance party, which will begin with easy and intermediate line dances from a predetermined playlist and progress to advanced dances throughout the evening. Dance requests will also be accepted.
Conferences with a full line-up of events often utilize Brochures to organize the details and times of specific activities. Organizers of such events may decide to get brochures printed at local Print shops that specialize in brochure printing for large-scale events.
The Texas Jam is scheduled for June 17 through June 19. It will take place at the Dallas/Fort Worth Airport Marriott on 8440 Freeport Parkway, Irving. Tickets range from $125 to $150.
