In celebration of Easter next month, the City of Irving will hold various egg hunts at five of its recreational centers.
The Easter event will be a fun, free activity suitable for the entire family. The egg hunts will be specifically designed for children ages 2 to 10 to participate in. The eggs will be filled with both age-appropriate toys and candy. There will also be other activities such as a petting zoo, arts and crafts booths, and kid-friendly entertainment and musical performances. Parents are encouraged to bring a camera with them to snap a free photo of their children with the Easter Bunny.
Each of the recreational centers will have different activities planned, so organizers recommend calling the centers for specific details. The participating recreation centers include Cimarron Park, Georgia Farrow, Lee Park, Northwest Park, and Senter Park. Each center’s phone number can be found on the City of Irving’s website. There will also be a video preview of previous egg hunts available to be viewed on the website.
Organizers that utilize websites to advertise their events may also invest in a dedicated team of graphic design artists to create a visually appealing website for the public to visit.
The citywide egg hunts are scheduled for Saturday, April 1 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. They will take place at the previously listed recreational centers.
