Irving to host cake and cocktail class series

Throughout July, Sugarbabes: Sweet & Treats in Irving will host the Treat Yourself Too! Caking With a Twist class series, which combines cake decorating with cocktails.

Sugarbabes is baking company that focuses on baking fresh, no-preservative cakes and desserts, as well as offering fun baking classes for customers wishing to improve their baking and decorating skills. The Caking With a Twist class series will occur twice-weekly throughout July.

The class will combine the instructional aspect of cooking classes with the fun socialization of mixing and drinking craft cocktails. To do this, Sugarbabes will be partnering with MIXY, a craft cocktail company that makes creating craft cocktails at home easy with unique mixology kits.

The Treat Yourself Too! classes will be an hour and half long and will feature an expert chef teaching different decorating techniques, such as using icing to make flowers and swirls. Participants will be able to choose their own flavor of pre-made cake and will be gifted a decorating kit.

Organizers of craft workshops like this often rely on the flyer printing method of advertising to boost visibility of their events.

The Treat Yourself Too! Caking With a Twist class series will occur on every Friday and Sunday of July. It will take place at Flowers Of Las Colinas on 4030 North MacArthur Boulevard, #120, Irving. Tickets are $40.
