Irving festival to get margaritas flowing

Margarita lovers should note that the Irving Margarita Festival is coming to town next month with even larger samples than last year.

Hosted by Texas Festivals & Events, the margarita festival is hailed as a margarita lover’s paradise as it boasts 10 margarita-dedicated booths to sample from. Differing from past years, attendees will be able to enjoy 3.5-ounce samples of margaritas over ice, which is the largest samples allowed by law. Some of Irving’s best bars and restaurants will be represented at the festival. There will also be street tacos and other food trucks for hungry attendees. After sampling each margarita, participants will vote for their favorite by placing a voting chip in the chosen booth’s jar.

The festival will offer several different admission packages. General sampling admission will include 10 margarita samples, one voting chip, and a raffle entry ticket. VIP admission will include early entry, 10 samples, one voting chip, and two raffle entries. Other activities and entertainment include a beer garden, live DJ, and adult playground. Events that feature raffles will often invite local businesses to donate Promotional Products for the giveaways.

The festival will take place on September 23 from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm. It will be held at Toyota Music Factory, located at 316 West Las Colinas Boulevard. General admission is $26, and VIP is $31.
