Irving-based company named healthcare front-runner

IDC MarketScape, a market analysis firm, has named Lightbeam Health Solutions of Irving a leader in health management, according to a recent announcement by Lightbeam.

The report, which IDC MarketScape calls the ‘U.S. Population Health Analytics 2018 Vendor Assessment (Doc #US44375418)’, was issued last month, and found Lightbeam's services and solutions, which it provides for health management, enough to make it a market leaders.

Lightbeam's CEO, Pat Cline, says that health services and solutions become more important as healthcare providers take on increasing risk. He went on to say that Lightbeam's success in the market was achieved because the company focuses on its clients' needs. Companies like this, which provide complex and innovative services, might consider working with a brochure printing company to develop explanatory literature for sales personnel, and interested parties.

Lightbeam was created to bridge the gap between provider systems and legacy payers so that all parties share the risk, as the industry transitions to reimbursement based on value, rather than on volume. According to a press release, Lightbeam's approach tailors an action plan for each client, including a health platform that works in conjunction with prescriptive advisory services. The combination has aided more than 160 payer and provider organization in streamlining their administrative and clinical operations, which in turn has improved outcomes and scores given for the quality of the service. Unnecessary costs have been reduced, and more than $470m savings has been realized.
