Fort Worth is home to the popular Reservoir Bar Patio & Kitchen, which has been operating since 2012. Now, a second Reservoir is coming to Irving, and will be located in the Toyota Music Factory complex. It will take over part of the premises now available since the closure of Big Beat Dallas. Big Beat Dallas comprised five separate establishments, all of which closed at the same time, leaving significant space for new tenants.
Funky Lime Hospitality Concepts is the parent of Reservoir, and Emil Bragdon is its CEO and president. Bragdon grew up about a mile from where the Music Factory stands today, and attended high school, as well as junior high, in Irving. He's excited to be bringing his ideas to his hometown and believes Reservoir will fit in well with the other concepts already open at the venue.
Reservoir Bar Patio & Kitchen is a gastropub that is noted for its expansive patio, which sets the tone for the entire restaurant, which has 38 HD televisions for patrons to enjoy. It serves comfort food plus pizzas made from scratch and baked in brick ovens, and also offers a full bar.
The new Reservoir should open before the end of 2018 and will be located on the Music Factory's Texas Lottery Plaza, near the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema.
