Bachata festival dances back to the Dallas area

This October, the 2021 Dallas Bachata Festival returns to the Dallas and Irving area for four days of guest artist performances, workshops, and social dancing.

Irving will host the Bachata Festival at the Sheraton DFW Hotel, where attendees will also be able to purchase rooms at discounted group rate during the event. The festival will feature more than 50 guest artists, instructors, and DJs, as well as more than 75 workshops in Bachata, Zouk, Salsa, and Kizomba dance styles. There will also be special boot camp workshops in styles such as Merengue and Latin Fusion. Some confirmed artists that will attend are Jonathan Troncoso and Guillermo Morales of Orlando, Johan Ibanez and Alyssa-Timba Tumbao of Dallas, Juho So of Chicago, and Jules Bertrand of Montreal.

Each evening will feature social dancing and high-energy shows from guest artists. To celebrate the Halloween season, there will also be a Saturday Night Halloween Dance Party for guests dance the night away in costume.

The 2021 Dallas Bachata Festival is scheduled for October 14 through October 17. Full event passes purchased in advance is $155, while those purchased at the door will be $175. The Sheraton DFW Hotel is located at 4440 West John Carpenter Freeway, Irving.
