The Warlord Combat Academy will soon be hosting the Wintercamp: Invitational, an armored steel combat workshop that may be of interest to Irving combat sports enthusiasts.
The Warlord Combat Academy is a local combat sports facility specializing in competitive and recreational classes involving all Forms of melee combat, such as spear, sword, axe, and armored fighting. Led by talented sword fighters and dedicated instructors, the Wintercamp will be a three-day workshop of intense training for steel fighting educators who wish to further their steel combat and teaching skills.
Event organizers hope to attract some of the country’s best fighters and are reaching out to those individuals who have proven to be strong and enthusiastic leaders in the steel fighting community. The workshop will prepare participants to excel in armored steel combat across not only the United States but also the world. After the event, organizers hope that attendees will leave having gained valuable skills and knowledge of effective training regimens to share with their communities.
The workshop is scheduled for February 19 through February 21 at the Warlord Combat Academy on 1915 Peters Road. Tickets range from $30 to $70 and can be purchased on Eventbrite.com.
