Houstonians will still get their mac and cheese fix

The Houston Mac Attack festival will now take place in June, after COVID-19 concerns forced it to be postponed from its original March date.

The festival is a celebration of macaroni and cheese and all its different incarnations. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Heart of America.

Ticket holders will receive unlimited mac and cheese, and have access to an open bar; it is restricted to those aged 21 and over. They will also receive a souvenir spork to eat with. The food will be prepared by some of the top chefs in the city and the public will get to vote for the best. Some of those that will be participating in this year's event are Weights and Measures, Max's Wine Drive, Mikki's Café, and The Dog House gourmet hot dogs and eats.

Heart of America is an organization that strives to improve the situation of public schools by helping to create modern learning environments. They also distribute Books to schools and transform libraries of all kinds.

Stationery printers in Houston often help distribute advertising materials to draw attention to such events.

The festival will be held on June 13 at Midtown Park. There are two sessions: 12:30 to 3:30 PM, and 5:00 to 8:00 PM. General admission tickets are $54 each and VIP tickets are $74, which give ticketholders entry half an hour earlier. Visit the Facebook page for more information.
