The Body Worlds RX exhibit is showing at the John P. McGovern Museum of Health and Medical Science, also known as the Health Museum, until April.
The show was created by Dr. Gunther von Hagans. It features real bodies that have been preserved using the process of plastination. Visitors will be able to see real organs, muscles, nervous systems, and skeletal structures. They will have the chance to compare healthy and sick bodies, such as comparing a smoker’s lung to a non-smoker’s, or viewing an obese and non-obese body.
There is also be a multimedia display on how to understand dementia, and visitors can learn all about the workings of the cardiovascular system and what cancerous tissues look like.
To advertise this, and other events, Houston printing companies are often asked to provide marketing materials such as Posters, Flyers and Brochures.
The Body Worlds RX exhibit is showing at The Health Museum until April 23. The museum is open Monday to Wednesday and Friday to Saturday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM and on Sunday from 12:00 to 5:00 PM, while Thursday hours are 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
