The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo is returning to the city for three weeks next month.
Prior to the show, a parade and rodeo run will take place on March 4 in downtown Houston. Thousands of people are expected to turn out for this popular annual event, which features marching bands and riders.
The show itself will feature trail rides at Memorial Park, cattle shows, and seminars. There will also be several competitions, such as a dairy goat milking contest. In addition, some of the most successful music stars in the country will be appearing in concert. They include Aaron Watson, Alicia Keys, Alan Jackson, Meghan Trainor, and Willie Nelson. There is also a carnival and a wine garden.
The rodeo will feature 20 competitions where the winners will receive cash prizes. Some of the events taking place are tie-down roping, steer wrestling, and bull riding.
To advertise this event in the Houston area, it is likely that organizers have invested in services like flyer and poster printing.
The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo will be held at NRG Park from March 7 to 26. Admission to the grounds is $10 for adults, $5 for children, and $25 for a season’s pass. Rodeo and concert tickets sell for $10 and up. To learn more about planned activities at this event, visit the official event website.
