The 5th annual Energy Day is taking place next month, presented by the City of Houston.
The event is geared to be of interest to Kindergarten up to Grade 12 students, and is set to promote the importance of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) in daily life.
There are expected to be lots of attractions at this event that will interest both students and their parents. There will be interactive exhibits and booths promoting energy and sustainability, which will allow the public to learn from experts in the subject. With live musical performance, several contests for prizes, and food available for purchase, guests should not be short of things to do.
Sponsorships are available from $2,500 up to $25,000. Volunteers are also needed to help ensure that the event runs smoothly.
There will no doubt be speakers and presentations. At last year's event, the Just Energy awards were handed out.
Houston students and their families, especially those following the STEM education path, will want to know about this upcoming event. To spread the word, organizers may invest in flyer printing services.
Energy Day will be held at Sam Houston Park on October 17 from 11:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Admission is free of charge. To learn more about this event, to become a sponsor, or to volunteer, contact Kathleen Van Keppel at 713-337-8802.
