Local foodies may want to save the date for the Houston Pizza Festival, which will put this popular comfort food front and center. It will boast options from the traditional margherita pizza to ones that are completely new and different, and all ages are welcome.
The function will offer pizza prepared by Houston eateries, and wine and beer will also be available. Live music and other entertainment have been planned, and competitive folk can sign up for the pizza eating contest. There will be a special area for the younger set to enjoy themselves, and everyone is welcome to bring along a folding chair and pop-up canopy so they can sit back and relax. Guests are asked to leave pets at home.
