Arboretums protect both plants and animal biodiversity, and one that calls Houston home has invited local adults to “hop to it” and register now for a special evening event.
Dr. Cassidy Johnson will be sharing her love of frogs during the Froggy Night gathering , and both Arboretum members and non-members are welcome to register. Tickets start at $37.00, and it is for those age 21 and up only.
The night promises to be wet and wild, and beer brewed by the Saint Arnold Brewing Company along with coffee and frog themed light bites will be on the menu. The attendees can learn all about these amphibians, including how they transform from tadpole to adult and also their courtship behaviors and calls. If the weather cooperates, there will be a guided walk to search for frogs and other creatures that come out at night, and everyone should dress for the weather.
