Summer means the start of the harvest season, and a Houston workshop will teach how to preserve the bounty.
The attendees in this lunch-and-learn-style session will learn an assortment of recipes that include locally grown produce. Tickets start at $38.52, which include the processing fees and taxes, and it's being offered by Central Market Houston.
The instructor for the activity will prepare an assortment of dishes, and the ticket holders will be invited to do lots of taste testing. Appetizers, as well as a dessert and dip will be on the menu, and the session is limited to learners aged 18 and up. At check-in, the ticket holders will be asked to sign a waiver, and everyone who reserves a seat is asked to arrive a few minutes ahead of the start time to complete this process. The instruction will begin at 12:00 pm.
Cookery and baking classes can be a fun way to pick up new kitchen skills, and many companies and organizations that host these events choose to order cards printed with the recipes taught so that the attendees can easily re-create them at home, and Stationery printers will be pleased to help.
This lunch-and-learn offering tips to make the most of summer produce will be on offer on July 2nd. Central Market Houston is located at 3815 Westheimer Road.
