Houston moms will soon be treated to a step back in time to the elegance of a 1940s garden party, and it may help them to create some cherished Mother's Day memories.
Everyone who comes to the Mother's Day tea is encouraged to dress to impress, including a fancy, teatime that if they wish. The function will be taking place at George Ranch Historical Park, and there are two seating times on offer.
Along with the pours of tea and an assortment of light luncheon items, the function will learn about the flowers, fashion, and etiquette that would have been common during the 1940s. All ages are welcome, including babies, and the ticket price will depend on the age of the bearer. Only a limited number of seats are available, and they are expected to sell out quickly.
When planning an event that has a historical theme, the organizers can count on being able to source the printing services they need from area printers. They can use a variety of techniques to create materials that have a period look and feel, and they are often kind on their budgets.
This salute to Houston moms and all they do throughout the year will be on offer on Saturday, May 13. The seating times are 11:00 am and 2:30 pm.
