A three-part running series will add some extra fun to Houston’s summertime calendar, and anyone who would like to secure their spot can do so now.
The city will be hosting the Summer Dash Series of fun runs, and they will be for any age that is interested. The series will open with the Lemonade Dash, and the pickup point for the race packets will be Sun and Ski Ports on Westheimer Road.
Those who would like to get involved in the run can choose from a five- or ten-kilometer route, and there will also be a special option just for the kids. Pets will not be permitted, and awards will be presented to the top finishers in the adult categories. The staging area and starting line will be set up at Karbach Brewing Company.
A running series encourages a community to get active. A banner printing company will be happy to prepare materials to use at the start and finish line as well as a variety of marketing materials to help build the buzz about an event.
The Lemonade Dash will kick off the Summer Dash Series for Houston on Saturday, June 10. The Popsicle Dash and Watermelon Dash will both take place on a later date, and additional details for the registrants can be found MyNeighborhoodnews.com.
