A charity fundraiser planned for Houston will be a food-filled affair, and the beneficiary of the occasion will be helping kids battling cancer to enjoy a summer camp experience.
Dubbed “Celebrity H-Town Chefs Against Cancer,” the evening will showcase top culinary talent from the local area. The chefs and eateries will be donating their time and food, and tickets for the affair are $175.
At least 12 different establishments are on the list of businesses participating in the fundraiser, and while the crowd enjoys sampling their fare, they can also view and bid on items in the silent auction. The guests will be able to mingle and meet the various chefs on hand, and while they enjoy themselves, they will be raising money for Camp H-Town, which is a sleepaway-style camping experience for kids fighting cancer, held indoors in the heart of the city.
Signature fundraisers often provide the bulk of the annual funding for a not-for-profit group, making it important to effectively market them to their target audience. A printing services company will be able to help with services available at a variety of price points.
The 2022 Celebrity H-Town Chefs Against Cancer event is set to begin at 6:30 pm on May 4. The Four Season Hotel Houston will be the location for the evening, and it will also serve as the venue for the summer camp.
