The annual award ceremony of the East End Thrivers is taking place next month. It will be presented in a virtual format by the Houston East End Chamber of Commerce.
Nominations are still being accepted until January 21. Six awards will be handed out during the evening as well as several scholarships. The awards to be handed out will be the Ed Wulfue Economic Development Award, Outstanding Corporate Citizen, Best Small Business, Male Executive, Female Executive and the Aldecoa Good Neighbor Award which is presented to a non-profit organization.
There will also be a silent auction taking place. Sponsorships can be purchased from $2,000 up to $7,500. Tickets are $150 each for a T-shirt, a gift box, and access to the Zoom link, or $50 for just Zoom access.
This is traditionally an important networking event for Houston businesses. While the virtual event will not allow interaction among viewers, it is an opportunity for the winners to further their standing in the city.
Houston Stationery printers are often asked to spread the word about business awards such as this. This usually includes Flyers and Invitations.
The awards celebration will be held on February 26 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM on Zoom. For more information about nominations, sponsorship, and the event itself, contact the Houston East End Chamber of Commerce at 713-926-3305.
