Fort Worth museum to organize child-friendly activity

The Amon Carter Museum of American Art in Fort Worth will offer an activity in November for toddlers and parents to enjoy.

Toddler Studio: Hide and Seek is a program where kids between 2-3 years old can engage in activities with their parents. The toddler-friendly playtime session will be inspired by works of art from The World Outside: Louise Nevelson at Midcentury exhibit. The exhibition contains many notable pieces, like Case with Five Balusters, Royal Tide I, and Lunar Landscape. The event is part of the Toddler Studio series, which is a monthly program for families in the community.

The Amon Carter Museum of American Art is an attraction that aims to collect and preserve the finest examples of American art. The organization was formed in 1961 and has collected many types of art, such as sculptures, pictures, and paper drawings. Those who visit the museum can explore exhibits like Come to Colorado, Darryl Lauster: Testament, and The Carter Collection. Other events held at the museum include construction workshops for families and adult art classes.

The hide and seek activity will be held on Saturday, November 4th from 11:00 am to noon. There is no cost for families to participate in the Toddler Studio series, though registration is required. Museums that offer family-friendly programs like this may use poster printing to help more children and parents see their events.
