The Dallas neighborhood of Deep Ellum is slated to have a grand, modern Mexican restaurant in The Epic, a recently constructed three-building development.
The new restaurant, La Neta Cocina Y Lounge, is the brainchild of the Las Vegas-based 81/82 Group and its founder Ryan Labbe. This will be 81/82 Group’s first endeavor to take the Mexican concept restaurant outside of its homebase of Las Vegas, where it opened in 2021.
The Dallas location, according to a news release, will provide an “unapologetically unique” experience in much the same way as the Las Vegas original, with dishes plated to appear as works of art. Other information gleaned from the release indicates that the Dallas La Neta will infuse nature into its customers’ dining experience with lots of live accents and lush greenery, and a living wall-art installation.
New businesses have many uses for Print shops in common, with everything from signage to business Stationery likely to be required.
The Dallas location, like its Las Vegas counterpart, will be open for lunch and brunch and will feature dishes such as barbacoa hash, breakfast tostadas, avocado toast, and waffle bread pudding. Cocktails will focus on mezcals and tequilas combined with seasonal, fresh ingredients. If Dallas’ La Neta follows the Vegas La Neta, it will have a trio of margaritas on tap.
In addition to La Neta, 81/82 has another Mexican concept restaurant in Las Vegas called Mas Por Favor, the opening of which coincided with the beginning of the pandemic.
