Thumbs up for new luxury Deep Ellum development

Juniper, Larkspur Capital’s latest planned luxury multifamily development is a go at Deep Ellum’s 4003 Commerce Street.

The planned building is to be seven stories high, encompassing a total of 219 units ranging from two-bedroom to studio apartments, with both flat-style and penthouse suites available. Additionally, fronting a soon-to-be-created private park, there will be townhome units.

Among the amenities available to residents will be co-working spaces, a dog park, and a pool deck providing views of downtown Dallas. In addition to residential space, Juniper will also contain retail areas.

Banner printing services are frequently used to market units within developments, often before they are even finished.

Larkspur has contracted with Austin-based OHT Partners, which has ample experience here in Dallas, to construct Juniper. The project was designed by the multinational architecture and design firm Corgan, based here in Dallas, and will feature an Art Deco-inspired double-height lobby and floor-to-ceiling windows. Faulkner Design Group has been tapped for interior design, while the landscape design will be in the hands of Garthoff Designs.

Larkspur is familiar with this area; northwest of Juniper, the developer created another seven-story community, the Willow. Moreover, it has plans for a 280-unit apartment complex nearby at 705 1st Avenue.

Juniper’s construction is scheduled to commence this month, with completion projected by the middle of 2026.
