Texas flare added to AT&T Stadium food

This year, on September 13, when fans returned to AT&T Stadium to root for the Dallas Cowboys, they were given the opportunity to chow down on new menu items.

Legends Hospitality revealed on September 10 that they had eight new menu items lined up for Cowboy fans and opposing team fans to enjoy. The idea was to include some uniquely Texan items such as a Texas-style Reuben, which combines traditional ingredients like smoked pastrami, sauerkraut and Thousand Island dressing with an Angus beef patty and breaded fried jalapeno, all served on Texas toast.

Spectators at AT&T Stadium this season definitely have some unique dining options. Consider what Legends Hospitality has done to the quintessential stadium food, the hot dog. Football fans now have a Frito Pie Hot Dog, a fancy roasted dog smothered in classic Texas chili, and then topped with pico de gallo and Fritos corn chips.

Although new items such as a Mexican Short Rib Sandwich may be pretty much self-explanatory, selections like the Jumbo Smoked Ham Griddle, which includes garlic, creamy horseradish sauce and greens of arugula, kale and spinach are not as transparent.
