Dallas residents looking for a relaxing way to spend a Saturday or Sunday might consider grabbing the family and going for a water garden tour. The 23rd Annual Tour of Ponds 2014 is a self-guided excursion through 32 North Texas water gardens.
This popular event allows attendees to enjoy as many water gardens as they choose . A wonderful way to revive the old tradition of going on a family drive, the tour is made up of North Texas Water Garden Society members' gardens. The featured plots range east from Mesquite, westward to Arlington, and north to south from Anna to Ennis.
Selecting which of the 32 gardens to visit can be a challenge. Location will of course play a big part in the decision-making process, but the use of a catalog printing service can assist as well. Tour guide Books are available for sale at a number of locations to help attendees decide which gardens they most wish to tour. The ponds and water gardens are listed in the catalog, with descriptions, color photos, and a map with the gardens marked.
The tour is being held 9am to 5pm and 8pm to 11pm on Saturday, June 7th, and 9am to 5pm on Sunday, June 8th. The tour books, which can be obtained at water garden suppliers, rock yards, and nurseries, cost $20 each and serve as a ticket for a carload of guests.Get a Free Quote for Books
