Punch Bowl Social is a gastro-diner with a high-volume bar and a reputation for entertainment featuring ping pong, bowling lanes, an assortment of other games. It has now added a mechanical bull to its offerings. In order to make room for the bull, the business has removed one of its two ping pong tables.
The Denver-based chain has 15 locations and the Deep Ellum one will be the first to have a mechanical bull. It is the second mechanical bull in the neighborhood, with the recently opened Rodeo Dallas, an Arizona founded concept, hosting the first.
Businesses use a variety of methods to promote new features such as those provided by banner and flyer printing services.
Although not located in Deep Ellum, Dallas has two other mechanical bulls. One can be found only 1.5 miles away at Gilley’s and another in northwest Dallas at Cowboys Red River.
According to the press release issued by Punch Bowl Social, a ride on the bull will cost $10 each and they suggest patrons:
"…get ready for a rip-roaring good time that will have cowboys and cowgirls hootin’ and hollerin’ all night long."
Riders who manage to last 10 seconds or more on the bull will be rewarded with drinks and prizes from Tito’s Vodka.
