Fashion Arena, which is being presented next weekend by The Fashion Opera at The Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden, will allow attendees to juxtapose nature’s finery with that produced by the fashion industry.
This seasonal showcase, featuring some of Dallas’s best designers, will be highlighted by a fashion presentation by Antonio Wingfield.
Wingfield’s two new collections, Wingfield and Vanity Black, combine practicality with theatrics to produce fashions for the well-dressed average woman. From his unique take on a simple little black dress to his fabulous evening gown creations. Wingfield’s designs always captivate his audience.
In addition to the fashion show, numerous cosmetics, beauty and health vendors will be on hand, no doubt well supplied with handouts by brochure printers, during the entirety of the event. Attendees can view the latest fashions and browse a wide range of products to assist them in making their own fashion statement.
Tickets must be purchased in advance and will not be available on the day of the event. This is to enable The Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden to make parking arrangements.
The Fashion Arena event takes place 2:00 pm – to 6:00 pm on Sunday, August 10. The fashion show starts at 3:00 pm. A Fashion Arena ticket provides admission to the Botanical Garden as well. The Dallas Chapter of Habitat for Humanity is to receive a portion of the proceeds.
