The Deep Ellum Community Arts Fair is an opportunity for the community to showcase its artistic side, and this year it is scheduled for the end of May.
Arts and culture are deeply rooted in this Dallas community’s history and the Deep Ellum Arts Fair provides an opportunity to introduce its current array of artists, entertainers, and performers, as well as local businesses. On hand there will be lots of food, curated exhibits, and concerts – all provided by local talent.
In 2020, Deep Ellum was designated a state Cultural District and is anticipated to gain recognition as a national historic district on the 2023 National Register of Historic Places.
Banner printing services also supply poster printing, with the two promotional tools working together to build excitement ahead of community events.
The annual event is starting a new tradition this year, starting with a new layout. In order to increase foot traffic to local businesses, the 2023 fair will extend down Crowdus Street without blocking business entrances. One major change in this year’s fair is the emphasis on local talent and the highlighting the local business community with many of the attractions or exhibitions being within the businesses.
Billed as “of the community, by the community and for the community,” the Deep Ellum Community Arts Fair will take place May 27-29.
