Deep Ellum club on deck to be Dallas White Claw capital

RBC, a Deep Ellum club, has reinvented itself to align with the changing preferences in the neighborhood while continuing to be an avid seller of this summer’s hottest drink, White Claw.

Located between Punch Bowl Social and the Twisted Root at 2617 Commerce Street, the “little bar that could” is sporting a new bar, floors, and rooftop in addition to the recently installed booths. New liquors and champagne have been added to the bar menu and of course lots of White Claw.

RBC’s manager, Zack Moss, recognized White Claw’s potential months before it became evident to others. The hottest drink of the season, the hard seltzer beverage is presently outpacing craft beer 4 to 1. So popular has the drink become in the area this season that it’s being called White Claw summer.

Jumping on a new entertainment, eating or drinking trend can provide a boost to an establishment and flyer printing can keep the public in the loop.

Changes in Deep Ellum that RBC has taken into consideration with their remodel is live music’s declining role, a change that has seen business such as The Door, Curtain Club and the Prophet Bar close. RBC retained but chose to downsized their stage. Generally, a DJ pulls in a larger crowd for the establishment but the company feels it’s important to keep the live music option open, so RBC hosts both club and live music nights.
