The free event, hosted by the Deep Ellum Foundation, will be headlined by Raekwon of the Wu-Tang Clan as well as the Dallas band Polyphonic Spree. At 3 pm, the group We Them Grays will provide an all-Disney set; after which, there will be a performance by Branoofunck.
Large public events require large signage such as that provided by banner printing services.
A press release issued by the Deep Ellum Foundation stated:
"Deep Ellum’s history as the birthplace of Dallas’ music scene — from the bluesy licks of Blind Lemon Jefferson to the punk and indie sounds that define today’s landscape — will be front and center.”
The nexus of the block party will be focused along Elm Street with that portion of Deep Ellum being blocked off. After sunset, 15 venues across Deep Ellum will be offering a wide selection of bands and musical artists. For these after dark performances attendees can obtain all-access wristbands from the Trees’ Beer Garden.
This year’s Deep Ellum Block Party, which takes place on November 23, is a follow-up to 2023’s Deep Ellum Music Festival that was held in honor of the district’s 150th anniversary.
