As suggested by its name, Electric Shuffle is a bar concept featuring a shuffleboard. Gene Ball, the company’s USA CEO, expressed his excitement about the location chosen for the London-based company’s first foray into the U.S. market, saying in a press release:
"The neighborhood’s mix of culture, philanthropy, arts, and innovation embody exactly who we are at Electric Shuffle."
A high-energy venue, the concept marries shuffleboard, food, and cocktails. Electric Shuffle was developed by the same team, Red Engine, that created Flight Club, a similar concept developed around darts. The shuffleboard games are played on a table using technology that tracks the game’s pucks and automatically calculates the score.
Deciding between poster and flyer printing for advertising a new establishment can often be determined by whether it is better to look for patrons from a specific demographic or a locale.
Food will be served on sharing platters or small plates. Drinks will include local beers, craft cocktails, and spritzers. Bottomless pizza will be available during Shuffleboard Power Hour.
The new bar hopes to be seen as a location for tournament-style events for team building, as well as holiday parties, with its 500 people capacity.
Electric Shuffle is expected to open in October in a site formerly occupied by the Slaughterhouse Haunted House, the historic building located at 2615 Elm Street in Deep Ellum.
