Austin party spot to open Dallas location

Austin’s Green Light Social, a wide-ranging nightclub and bar, will open a second location in Dallas this fall.

The new venue will be opening near the DART rail station in Deep Ellum in the newly emerging so-called North Good Latimer District, where Vice Park, Bottled Blonde, and The Sporting Clubs already operate.

Green Light Social originated in 2016 in Austin. Ian Fletcher, one of the business’s operating partners, issued this statement:

"As our Austin location was welcomed immediately into the local nightlife scene and has maintained its status as a top party destination, we think the new Dallas location will see great success as there’s truly nothing else like it currently in the market."

At almost three times the size of the original location, the Dallas Green Light Social will offer three experiences – a DJ-driven dance club; a cocktail lounge with patio bar; and The Ruby Room, a membership-only 25-and-older speakeasy. New nightspots like this frequently promote themselves with flyer printing services.

When it comes to drinks, the cocktail lounge at Green Light Social will serve location-specific cocktails that include frozen, canned, and shareable cocktails. The Ruby Room offers a cart service at tableside. A full menu will be offered, which includes entrees, brunch, and desserts, as well as shareable dishes.

In its nightclub area, a high-energy atmosphere will prevail thanks to a spacious dance floor, a Vegas-style nightclub with rotating world-class DJs, and private VIP tables.
