Water bills now payable online for Dallas residents
Dallas residents now have a new online platform, known as DallasGo, by which they can pay their water bills, replacing the bill paying system that preceded it.
The new platform provides more functionality, making it easier for resident to pay their Dallas Water Utilities (DWU) bill along with other bills due to the City of Dallas. Among the DallasGo features touted include the ability to quickly view bills, establish automatic payments, switch payment methods, or audit account information. Additionally, the new platform also offers a Guest Pay feature allowing for a one-time payment option that negates the need for logging in or creating a profile.
In a release, Sarah Standifer, Dallas Water interim director, explained that the new platform is part of an effort to keep improving the experience for customers and make innovative use of technology.
Flyer printing services are one of the ways local governments inform their citizenry of new or changing programs.
Use of DallasGo is strictly voluntary. Customers may continue to make their payments via the City Hall drop box, phone, mail, or in person at an authorized pay station or at Dallas City Hall if they prefer. Those who registered for automatic payments under the old platform will need to re-enroll for DallasGo’s AutoPay.
There are no fees associated with the use of the new payment platform. For more information, visit DallasGo.
